"WFST J0530: A newly discovered pulsating white dwarf star, showcasing internal gravity wave pulsations like a cosmic heartbeat. As one of the faintest stars known, it has three stable pulsation frequencies and a temperature of approximately 11,850 K, located 919 light years away."
China's FAST telescope—the largest on Earth—has scoured the archives to find 19 pulsars missed by previous searches, including rare "transient" ghosts.
